Louisa Davidson MA BA(Hons) ALCM has 25 years experience and success as an accomplished musician and tutor of Clarinet and Saxophone. Louisa studied Clarinet with the internationally renowned Clarinettist David Campbell at London College of Music and has worked with leading Saxophonists Nigel Wood, Gerard McCrystal and Chris Gumbley.
As a Tutor Louisa has successfully taught within Schools and Colleges in Mid Wales, Shropshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire-and continues with her private tuition for students of all ages.
Many younger students have played or play in County Music Groups such as WYO (Worcs Youth Wind Orchestra- a successful wind band performing music to an extremely high standard.), WYJO2 on Saxophones (Worcs Youth Jazz Orchestra- for those young musicians looking to experience jazz ensemble music and improvisation. 2009 saw WYJO2 perform at the Upton Jazz Festival. WYJO2 has now developed into a performing ensemble in its own right undertaking more gigs year by year.) Others over the years have gone onto study Music at University level. Louisa has set up and directed many student ensembles including The Hanley Clarinet Quartet who performed at Upton Jazz Festival 'Best of Young Jazz','Music for Youth Festival' 2010 Birmingham and 'Voices and Visions' showcase at Malvern Theatres.

All Louisa's students’ ,school age from aged 10 and adults, are carefully catered for, from the Beginner through to an Advanced level Gd 8+ with a 99% success rate in the ABRSM grades.
As a musician Louisa specialises as a soloist and chamber/ensemble player. Louisa has been clarinettist in the Proteus Chamber Group and soloist in many Music Festivals in Wales and the Midlands including recently as performer and member of the National Saxophone Ensemble and Choir of Great Britain
Louisa Davidson is currently the Founder and Director of the Worcestershire Saxophone Ensemble and Clarinettist in The Boehm Clarinet And Piano Duo.
